Warren was born and raised in East Liverpool, Ohio; graduating from East Liverpool High School in 1945. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy. Warren and his brothers are owners of the Smith Farm Supply, from where he retired in 1992. After retirement, he and several other members of the community put many hours in to build the Sports Complex at Beaver Local High School. Warren also served as treasurer for the Beaver Local Wrestling Club for years. 2010 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE!
