Stephanie Coie was a well-rounded athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball and track. As a member of the track team her junior year, she was a member of the 4 x 800 relay team that set a record that still stands. She was a First Team All County and Review player in volleyball and was Most Valuable Player her senior year. Her best sport, however, was basketball. She was a three-time All Area First Team for the Evening Review and Salem News, three-time All County First Team, three-time Offensive Player of the Year for Beaver Local and Most Valuable Player in her junior year and senior years. Stephanie also made First Team All Eastern District and All State Honorable Mention. Her senior year, she was the Evening Review and Salem News Player of the Year. Stephanie also the 1985 rrecipientof the Dike Beede Memorial Award.
