All County Honors
Beaver Local senior Jenna Riccardo along with East Liverpool senior Tresean Jackson and Southern Local senior Cam Grodhaus captured top honors on the 2019-20 Columbiana County all-star basketball teams.
They were named Columbiana County players of the year in balloting by county coaches on Sunday.
Riccardo is the girls player of the year a second straight year.
She averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds with 20 double-doubles this season for the 13-11 Beavers. She is first in school history with 1,767 career points and 1,032 rebounds.

All District Honors
COLUMBUS–Beaver Local senior Jenna Riccardo was the area headliner on the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association All-East District high school basketball teams.
Riccardo, who did a little bit of everything for the Beavers this season was named the Division II girls Co-Player of the Year. She shared the honor with Bailee Smith from Maysville.

ALL State Honors
COLUMBUS — One thing that Beaver Local could always count on was the play of Jenna Riccardo.
The Beaver Local senior, the school’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder, is first-team selection on the Division II All-Ohio high school girls basketball team released Tuesday by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.
Riccardo — a two-time Columbiana County player of the year — posted 20 double-doubles as she averaged 21 points and 13 rebounds in leading the Beavers to a 13-11 season.
The last player in the program to be a first-team All-Ohioan was Rachel McCoy in 2004.

An NCAA Division II West Liberty University recruit, Riccardo also was a third-team All-Ohio selection as a junior and received honorable mention as a sophomore.

Riccardo ranks first in school history with 1,767 points and 1,032 rebounds in her career.
