Highlights
The Beaver Local varsity softball
team had a successful season as a
whole finishing 12-12. Senior Courtney
Messenger said,"Our fielding was the best.
We had a rough start hitting the beginning
of the season but we progressively got better
as we want." They made the difficult decision
and forfeited against Buckeye Local in their
Sectional Game in order to attend after prom.
Two outstanding players, Courtney Messenger
and Bobbi Ann led the teams offense with a
batting average of 349. Courtney pithed 187
strikeouts the whole year along with 12 walks.
In the fall she will be playing for Waynesburg
University.
