For the second year in a row the Beavers won the Double-A sectional baseball title. The baseball team had a successful year, and put on a fine performance. The team was lead by the accurate pitching of junior Tim Fenton and the batting efforts of Joe Miller, Pete Shaw, and Eric Hoppel. At the Annual Spring Sports Banquet Eric Hoppel was presented with the Dike Beede Memorial Award, as well as the MVP trophy. Bob Boughner was given the Co-captain award, and Pete Shaw was given the coaches award. Tim Fenton was given a trophy for best pitcher.
